Miyagi Olle began in October 2018 with the opening of the Kesennuma/Karakuwa Trail Course and the Oku-Matsushima Trail Course. The Osaki/Naruko Hot Spring Trail Course followed in September 2019, the Tome Trail Course in March 2020, the Murata Trail Course in November 2023, and the Tagajo Trail Course in November 2025. In April 2026, the new Zao/Togatta Hot Spring Trail Course, known for its rich natural scenery and hot springs, was opened. We invite you to experience the diverse attractions of Miyagi Prefecture.
From the dynamic ria coast to the scenery of the Sanriku Geopark, and seasonal flora, there is much to enjoy.

This landscape with water as calm as a lake, and dotted by countless islands, is so beautiful it seems like a painting.

This trail will take you along the deep gorges formed by the erosion of the Oyagawa River and small paths where the Oku no Hosomichi (The Narrow Road to the Interior) lies. Along the way, you can enjoy the hot springs which this area is famous for, including hand and foot baths.
